General Meeting

We will hear from Dr. Greg Marshall, President of the Sarasota Democratic Black Caucus and campaign manager for Sarasota County School Board Candidate, Jimmy Glover. We will be visited by Sarasota County School Board Candidate, Beth Mayberry, to share her knowledge and expertise.
Lastly, we will update you on current and future action items and community building events.

In Person De-Escalation Training
The Venice Indivisible Resistance Leadership Team will be presenting de-escalation training for peacekeepers/safties or anyone interested. This training is critical for being a safety at any VIR rally.
General/Ambassador Meeting
Join Venice Indivisible Resistance on Saturday, April 25th for our monthly membership meeting as we come together to reflect, reconnect, and organize forward.
We’ll debrief the No Kings rally, share takeaways, and talk about next steps as a community committed to action.
We’ll also offer a brief resiliency training, an open space for discussion and reflection, and a meet and greet with Beth Mayberry, candidate for Sarasota County School Board.
